finding the joy: summer 2012 is here!

willette’s finding the joy® : summer 2012  |  july 1st  – july 31st, 2012

Summer has officially arrived at the willette household!  I’m ready to trade in carpools for canoe rides, foundation for freckles, school uniforms for sunscreen and skipping family meals to skipping rocks on the Bay.  What about you?

This four week on-line photograph class will help you learn to document your family in photos – just in time for your most memorable summer vacation yet!

My finding the joy® classes have always helped me reenergize and reconnect with my camera – and they have helped me ensure that I document just how awesome our family is in photos!  I know they have done the same for hundreds of other moms, families and photographers as well.

Won’t you join me for the newest edition of the finding the joy legacy this summer?  finding the joy: summer 2012!

This is another willette finding the joy ecourse that will give you simple tips and tricks and inspiration to document all of your summer awesomeness!  The ecourse will take place over the course of 4 weeks beginning july 1, 2012 – with a bi-weekly email in your inbox containing over 25 photo topics, some tutorials and tips (videos) for working with summer photo situations (including shooting in full sun!), and a wrap up that will help you decide just what to do with your photos!

This class will focus LESS on technical aspects and MORE on broad concepts of photography.  I will be using a combination of my iPhone, my point and shoot, AND my dslr for my photos.  I encourage you to do the same.  You don’t have to have a fancy camera to capture your family in photos!!!…you just have to have a desire to document your daily summer life!

Hosted by willette, creator of the finding the joy ™ class series, this is a continuation of the “finding the joy” principles with the camera – learn how to best capture the joy and magic of your family on your own!

Willette’s summer joy promises to help you focus on capturing both the posed AND the everyday family moments of your family.  With themed bi-weekly lessons focusing on what we love best about summer, this class will inspire and encourage you to keep your camera/camera phone ready at all times!

The class fee is $25 and includes:

Included in this 4-week class:

  • 2 bi- weekly lessons emailed to your inbox in a pdf format with a wrap up at the course’s finale with over 25 summer topics.
  • Tutorials – some video, some written
  • Private, invitation only pinterest board that you can post to and view.
  • Priceless summer family photos taken by YOU!
  • An album template at the course’s conclusion for you to create your own coffee table album (sized as 12×12, but easily resized as 8×8 or 10×10).  This is in a PSD format.

All this for only $25!!

Signups are going on RIGHT NOW….and will continue into the class’s beginning (July 1, 2012).  This is such a great way to teach yourself to document your own family this summer (and if you already know how, then this class is an excellent tool to help you remember to document your own life – to stop and take the time!).

the fun begins july 1, 2012 in your inbox!  i hope to see you there!!!

  1. This e-course sounds great!
Sorry to ask something that may sound a silly question but i’ ve never participated an e-course before.
Do the tutorials included in package have to do with post editing?
If yes are they in photoshop or what else?

    • thanks for the comment, marian! some of the tutorials involve post processing, but this class focuses primarily in the process of “getting” and taking the photo….less on post processing. i use photoshop and will touch on this and i will also discuss google’s free photo editing app called “picasa”. thanks!
